Ransomes and Reavells
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ransomes and Reavells is a cricket ground in Ipswich, Suffolk, England. It has been used for a single List A match: that between Minor Counties East and Middlesex in the 1978 Benson & Hedges Cup. [1] The game was notable for Middlesex fast bowler Wayne Daniel's bowling analysis of 11-5-12-7, his career best in List A cricket. [2]
The ground has also been used on a number of occasions in the Minor Counties Championship, and hosted the rain-affected final between Suffolk and Cheshire in 2005, which was drawn. [3]
Note that the second company name in the ground title is mis-spelled by both CricketArchive and Cricinfo. The correct spelling is "Reavells": the company makes compressors.
