Ranpirnase

Ranpirnase is a ribonuclease enzyme found in Rana pipiens oocytes. It is being studied in the treatment of cancer specifically mesothelioma. It is manufactured by Alfacell Corporation and known by the ONCONASE trademark.

Onconase is currently in a Phase III trial and was recently licensed by Par Pharmaceuticals.[1]
