Ranofer is an American metal band from Seattle, Washington. The band was formed by Kyle Van Kampen and Jesse James in 2006 at an after-school program called "Rock Band". Since then, they have become fairly popular among High School students in Seattle.

When the band first started, there was only Kyle and Jesse in the band. Then Even Fitzgerald and Zolton Martinez joined to become the drummer and bassist. After kicking out Jesse and Zolton, they managed to get a new bassist/guitarist named Nelson Payne.
