Rangunia (Bengali: রাঙ্গুনিয়া) is an Upazila of Chittagong District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.

As of 1991 Bangladesh census[1], Rangunia has a population of 263217. Males constitute are 51.9% of the population, and females 48.1%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 127825. Rangunia has an average literacy rate of 35.4% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. [2]
