Rangpo River

River Rangpo is a river in the Indian state of Sikkim. It is a tributary of the River Teesta. The town of Rangpo lies on its banks. It is fed by the Rangpo chu.Rangpo river occupied maximum part of the east Sikkim and with few part of Darjeeling District of North Bengal. This tributary flows mainly from east to west with a variable channel pattern inclusing braided,meandering, straight, gourge and blocked lake etc.Landlside are very commong along this river banks as cliffs like bedrocks are well exposed along this river valley wall.
