Ranford Road is a major road in the south and south east of the Perth Metropolitan Area. It directly connects the south eastern suburbs in the Armadale area to Fremantle and Canning Vale. After its termination at Bannister Road, Ranford Road continues as a three land dual carriageway called South Street, which goes directly to Fremantle.
Ranford Road is currently in major roadworks where the road will be upgraded to a dual carriageway from Warton Road to Tonkin Highway to contain the higher volumes of traffic and the new residential developments occurring in the area.
It is part of the state route 13.
