Randy Cooke is a Canadian drummer who was a part of Ian Gillan's backing band on the Deep Purple frontman's United States solo tour in August and September of 2006.

Randy toured in Fall of 2006 as the drummer for the group Five For Fighting, as well as a stint in late 2007 and early 2008 as drummer for Ringo Starr. He is also the drummer for LA-based Indie band The Romanovs.

His most recurring gig has been with guitarist Rik Emmett for which he has appeared on every album since Absolutely in 1990 .

The Romanovs won a Toronto Independent Music award for Best USA Band on the 4th of October 2007.
