Randy Bennett is the head men's basketball coach at Saint Mary's College of California. Bennett has led the Gaels to a 127-90 record in his seven years as head coach. While never winning the West Coast Conference given the dominance of Gonzaga, Bennett has made St. Mary's into arguably the second-best team in the conference with many 2nd place finishes and two NCAA tournament appearances through at-large bids.

Given this success, Bennett has been linked to several coaching jobs in higher profile conferences in recent years, most recently at California and Oregon State.[1] [2] Bennett is currently signed at St. Mary's through 2013.[3]
