[edit] Appearance

Similar to the Laz Angriff, the Randgrith is a rather inelegant package of weapons built into its humanoid frame. It is less armored than the Laz Angriff, and is usually painted in green. The Randgrith's design is heavily based on the Dougram machines from Fang of the Sun Dougram. The Randgrith Raven would carry an additional flight pack, mounted along its shoulders, giving its appearance a loose resemblance to the Dragonar Custom units of Metal Armor Dragonar.

[edit] Technical And Historical

The Randgrith is Type-30 of the Valkyrie series of mobile weapons, developed from the Fylgia hovertank. Its design is the basis of the RGC-034 Laz Angriff, and is assigned the RGV-30 model number. The Shadow-Mirror would mass-produce this unit, after jumping from the Shadow-Mirror universe to the Original Generation dimension. Both Shadow-Mirror and Neo Divine Crusaders officers would utilize this machine, including the bioroid army of the Shadow-Mirror. Some of the more notable officers to use the Laz Angriff are Yuuki Jaggar, Ricarla Borgnine and Seolla Schweizer, after the unit is rolled out from the production line.

The Randgrith is equipped with various missile launchers, a main cannon using solid rounds, a beam coat, a missile jamming system, and a mecha-sized knife for use in emergencies or close combat situations. A handheld pistol could normally be carried, if the use of missiles are less than ideal. The Randgrith Raven's would sport an additional main cannon, as part of its upgrade.

[edit] Specifications

[edit] Randgrith

Height: 20.3 Meters

Weight: 98.8 Tons

Weapon Systems:

  • Scissor Knife
A survival knife scaled for use by a Personal Trooper, used to slash at enemies. It is similar to the one the Laz Angriff carries.
  • Matrix Missile x 2
Mounted on the machine's shoulders, this weapon fires two missile containers, which break open to scatter smaller warheads at long-distance targets. This is in all ways identical to the one on the Laz Angriff.
  • Phalanx Missile
Another weapon system found in the Laz Angriff and shared by the Randgrith. The Randgrith only carries enough missiles for one salvo, while the Laz Angriff can fire two salvos.
  • Linear Cannon
The Randgrith does not have the F-Solid Cannon, but this weapon instead. This weapon is used to attack enemies that are out of the Randgrith's missile range, enemies that have some anti-missile defenses, or just to deal more damage.

[edit] Randgrith Raven

Height: 20.3 Meters

Weight: 130.3 Tons

Weapon Systems:

  • Spider Net
Fires a small missile which impedes its target's movements.
  • Scissor Knife
A survival knife scaled for use by a Personal Trooper, used to slash at enemies.
  • Stealth Boomerang
The Randgrith Raven unleashes a drone which skirts along the ground, cloaking briefly before physically attacking its target. This was a hidden weapon for Ricarla until Original Generation Gaiden, where it became standard equipment.
  • Linear Rifle
A handheld version of the Linear Cannon, it fires smaller yet faster rounds, similarly to the Boosted Rifle used by the R-1.
  • Matrix Missile
Mounted on the wings's hardpoints, this weapon fires two missile containers, which break open to scatter smaller warheads at long-distance targets. There are two versions for the Randgrith Raven- a single shot which targets a single enemy or a dual shot which is a Map Attack.
  • Twin Linear Cannon
The Randgrith Raven extends the two large cannons on its shoulders and fires a barrage of solid rounds at its target.

[edit] Other

Like most units created by the Shadow-Mirror, the Randgrith has a self-destruct option called Code ATA, which stands for "Ashes To Ashes.
