Rande Gerber

Rande Gerber, (born April 27, 1962), is a former model and the owner/operator of the Midnight Oil Chain of Bars and Lounges. His brother Scott runs the financial end of the Company. Their youngest brother Kenny is also involved.

Married to model Cindy Crawford on May 29, 1998, they have two children, Presley, born July 2, 1999, and Kaia, born September 3, 2001. Gerber grew up in the Five Towns and graduated in 1980 from Hewlett High School in Long Island. He attended the University of Arizona and graduated with a BA in marketing. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and children.

On July 8, 2005, news reports said that Gerber would be working with George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon to design and build a major new casino hotel in Las Vegas. The project never came to fruition, however, and the property on which the resort was to be built was sold in June 2006. [1]

In May 2007, Delta Airlines began serving cocktails designed by Gerber. [2]
