Ranchor Dasa

Ranchor Dasa is a disciple of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, and an active part of The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). Ranchor took to ISKCON despite going to a Catholic school where he was not taught about other religions on the grounds that "it would be a waste of time as they were self-evidently false"[citation needed]. He eventually embarked on his own spiritual search.[citation needed]

Ranchor joined ISKCON in 1970. He has held many posts of responsibility of behalf of ISKCON in the United Kingdom. He is the founder of 'Friends of Vrndavan' and a member of the International Consultancy on Religion, Education and Culture (ICOREC).[citation needed]
