Rana maosonensis is a species of frog in the Ranidae family. It is found in Laos, Vietnam, and possibly China. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, rivers, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marches. It is threatened by habitat loss.
