Rana lateralis is a species of frog in the Ranidae family. It is found in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, plantations , and irrigated land. It is threatened by habitat loss.
