Rana johnsi is a species of frog in the Ranidae family. It is found in China, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, rivers, intermittent rivers, intermittent freshwater marshes, heavily degraded former forest, irrigated land, and seasonally flooded agricultural land. It is threatened by habitat loss.
