Rana alticola is a species of frog in the Ranidae family. It is found in Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Thailand, possibly China, and possibly Nepal. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss.
