The Rana Marsupial Andina (Gastrotheca riobambae) is a species of frog in the Leptodactylidae family. It is endemic to Ecuador. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes, subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, rivers, intermittent rivers, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, arable land, rural gardens, urban areas, heavily degraded former forest, ponds, and canals and ditches. It is threatened by habitat loss.
