This picture is horribly inaccurate. The clarinet can go another octave above this High C.
- I disagree, the image shows a C on the second ledger line with an 8va line above it. This indicates that the observed note is to be played one octave higher (in this case, a C resting on top of the fifth ledge line above the staff). It is true that the clarinet can go even somewhat higher than this, yet this range is hardly ever used. Mathandpi 14:23, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
