This is a screenshot from a video broadcast on SABC News on Nov. 7, 2000. The original video was actually shot in Jan. 1998 by one of six policemen from the North East Rand Dog Unit who had set their dogs on three suspected illegal immigrants. All the policemen were ultimately sentenced to jail terms of between four and five years each. See http://www.sabcnews.com/features/dog_attacks/photos.html for more stills taken from the broadcast.
