Hi, I am Renier Maritz a chemical engineer living in South Africa. I am an active contributor to the Afrikaans language wikipedia, but I do contribute to the English version every once in a while.

I live in a town called Secunda, approximately 150 km to southeast of Johannesburg. I have great admiration for the individuals who initiated this project and those who contribute to it.
