[edit] Other meaning

As I recal, 'Ramrod' was also a slang term used by cattle drivers. I think that is was a job-title/work description user to describe a driver and the position that they took up during the drive.

I'm not clear enough about what the person who is the 'Ramrod' actually does to put it up as a definition though, could somebody else do it.
