[edit] Insufficient Scope

Regarding the recent tagging of this article for deletion due to "insufficient scope":
First: I don't object to this article's being deleted.
Second: Unfortunately, this article was moved from the former Buddha article so this article's "history" page has the entire edit history of the former Buddha (and/or perhaps Buddha (disambiguation)) article.[1] Is there any way to preserve the edit history (e.g., moving this back to Buddha and then copying the current contents of Buddha over this?) while doing whatever needs to be done (e.g., deleting) this article?
Thanks!

I deprodded, I don't think "insufficient scope" is a good reason for deletion, and I don't think this is uncontroversial. --Closedmouth (talk) 08:19, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
I sort of reverted you because I also think this is a non-article going nowhere and it should be deleted. Abtract (talk) 08:43, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, that's not how prod works. It's only for uncontroversial deletions, if a prod tag is removed in any context, you must not re-add it. If you want the article deleted, take it to AfD and have a proper discussion. --Closedmouth (talk) 09:12, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
OK apologies ... though I am surprised you contest it. I don't feel strongly enough to persue it. Thanks. Abtract (talk) 09:17, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
