The first reference is incorrect: refers to an Einstein coffee shop instead of an Eisenstein polynomial.

When I click on "Euler-Poincaré Characteristic", Wikipedia takes me to a page on the "Euler Characteristic". Are these really the same thing? Shouldn't the article say this more explicitly, if it is so? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.165.5.166 (talk) 08:39, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

for a branching point of the kind z − > zⁿ, n-1 is called the ramification number or the branching order of the function at a point (on a complex manifold). For compact Riemann surfaces, the total branching order is well-defined. Should we at least add a couple of redirecting links such as 'branching order'? Commentor (talk) 06:13, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
