Ramsey Rugby Club is a Rugby Union Team based in Ramsey, Isle of Man. They are the current reigning Champions of the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield. They have been the dominant force in domestic rugby within the Island for some 14 years having won the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield 12 out of the last 14 years.

Ramsey RUFC was formed in the late 1970s by a group of old boys from the local comprehensive school, Ramsey Grammar School.
The club was admitted to the Rugby Football Union in December 1981. The club tasted their first success capturing the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield in the 1988/89 season. They regained the Shield in 1994/95, 1995/96, 1996/97, 1998/99 and 1999/00. In the 2000/01 season Ramsey completed their biggest achievement winning the domestic double of the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield and the Dorchester Maritime Manx Cup. They also won the Shield in 2001/02, 2002/03, 2003/04, 2004/05 and 2006/07. In 2006/07 they completed another double winning the inaugral Manx Challenge Cup. They also won the Manx Bowl in 2005/06.
In 2003 Ramsey completed the construction of their Club House at The Mooragh Park in Ramsey.
Ramsey were crowned Champions for the 12th time in 14 years in March 2008.
In March 2008 it was announced that Ramsey have been accepted into the English Leagues and will compete in the Euromanx South Lancs/Cheshire 4 League next season.
On 12th April 2008 Ramsey completed another historic double retaining the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield and also winning the Shimmin Wilson Manx Trophy. On the same day Club Captain Tynan Pritchard was named Shimmin Wilson Player of the Season for 2007/2008.

Ramsey play in Red and Black Hoops, Black Shorts and Red and Black Hooped Socks. The club logo is a Loaghtan Sheep. Ramsey's Second Team play in Blue and Black Hoops, Black Shorts and Blue and Black Hooped Socks.
