The Rampage is the official school newspaper by the students in the journalism program at Mayde Creek High School in Houston,Texas. The name is a pun on the school's mascot, The Rams. The newspaper is typically released once every six weeks however in the case of the 2007-2008 school year an additional issue will be included for a total of seven 16 page issues. The staff is made up of 13 students who sell (and often design) ads to fund the paper, write the stories, assemble the layouts by organizing the stories and photos, and distribute the papers.
