Ramona Persaud

Ramona Persaud (born Sept 1971, Georgetown, Guyana) is a West Indian-born, documentary film maker, photographer, writer and salesperson, who loves to travel.
She emigrated to Canada in 1986 with her parents and her siblings to Ontario. Ramona eventually settled in Toronto where she attended school and started her career in marketing. She eventually continued her studies with film making courses at Ryerson University.
Her first photography show was called "Reality Check" in September, 2005 at Gypsy Co-Op in Toronto. Her first documentary film is about Autism, called "It's a Different World", which is now in post-production (release date unknown).
Ramona has recently relocated to her newly adopted home in New York where she lives with her husband and their family.
