Ramon Nivar

Ramon A. Nivar (born February 22, 1980 in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic) is a Major League Baseball utility player who is currently a free agent. Nivar played some games for the independent league York Revolution in 2007. Nivar signed a minor league contract with the San Diego Padres before the 2008 season, but was released during spring training.

Nivar has played in Major League Baseball for the Texas Rangers (2003-2004) and the Baltimore Orioles (2005).
