Ramna (Bengali: রমনা) is a Thana of Dhaka District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It contains the Secretariat, which houses most of the government ministries, the residences of ministers and senior government officials, and the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. The University of Dhaka and the Ramna Park are also closely located.

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Ramna has a population of 195167. Males constitute are 58.32% of the population, and females 41.68%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 127049. Ramna has an average literacy rate of 69.3% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
