Ramin Bahrani

Ramin Bahrani (born 20 March 1975 in North Carolina, U.S.) is an Iranian-American filmmaker, cinematographer and scriptwriter.
After receiving his BA from Columbia University in New York City, Bahrani moved to Iran for three years and made his student thesis film, Strangers (2000). He is President of Noruz Films. In 2005, he wrote and directed Man Push Cart, followed by Chop Shop in 2007.
