Ramesh Narayan is a Hindustani Vocalist from Kerala who is also an acclaimed Film Music Director in Kerala, India. He has given live programs in several parts of India and abroad.He is the only disciple of Pandit Jasraj from Kerala. Blessed with a powerful and expressive voice, his renditions are noted for their memorable felicity, depth of imagination and power to touch the listeners' heart. He is equally at ease with a weighty Khayal or a moving Bhajan and his renditions take the connoisseurs and masses alike, to ecstatic heights.

One of his most celebrated achievements is the 30-hour concert he had performed, dedicated to his father and his guru, the late Narayan Bhagavathar and to Pandit Mothiram, the exponent of Mewati Gharana which had his name etched in the Guinness Book of Records.

He has composed, rendered and directed music for several feature films and Television serials. like "Gharshom", "Elayum Mullum", "Magrib", "Megh Malhar", "Makalkku", "Anyar", "Sheelabati" directed by well-known directors. He is the Director and Founder of Pandit Motiram Narayan Sangeeth Vidyalay, Kerala, the only Vidyalay in South Asia under Mewati Gharana.

  • Honoured by Parampoojya Guruji, Pandit Jasraj ji, at the Pandit Motiram Maniram Musical Festival, Hyderabad, November,1994.
  • Entered into the Guinness Book of Records on October 8, 1994 for singing continuous 30 hour concert at the Soorya Dance & Music festival 1994 Thiruvananthapuram.
  • Akashavani Annual Award for the year 1997.
  • Centre for Media Studies Buddha Award for the year 1998.
  • Honoured with the title- "Nada Chinthamani" in the year 1998 for his meritorius service to the cause of music.
