Ramatheertam is situated in Vizianagaram District of Andhra Pradesh state. It is home to the famous Lord Sri Rama Swamy Temple in the Hill of Bavikonda, with the lake besides it called Koneru. The temple is built on a single rock by the Pushapati Kings during 16th century. It is located 13 km from the capital of the Vizianagara District.
