Ramanakkapeta

Ramanakkapeta is a small village in Musunuru Mandal, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is 20 kilometers from Nuzvid and has bus connectivity to Nuzvid, Vijayawada, and Vissannapeta. Neighboring villages are Kondaparva, Chekkapalli, Thurupu Digavalli, and Padamata Digavalli.
Ramanakkapeta is famous for its mango farms, Bhallathaka made using Bhallataka (Semecarpus anacardium) herb and its vessel-making industry. Most of the people in this village have the surnames Thota, Uppe, Rangu, Pilli, or Golla. World-renowned Ayurvedic Physician Shri Pogula Sankara Rao was born here. He was president of the village for several terms. As a communist, he donated several hundreds of acres of land, to the poor and down-trodden. Now his son Shri P.Chandrasekhar looks after the Village Shiva Temple and Goddess Temples.

lord shiva temple is on the hill(gattu) the mount is around 1Km hight, people is believing shiva, every day one persion climbing this hill and making naivedyam (shiva food is cow milk) and doing puja and submitting milk for shiva, some times village puroht Mr.sreemanarayana sharma Valluri doing abhishekams like astotram, saharanama pujas doing, Mr.Mr.sreemanarayana sharma is grate doctor for animals and people like snake attacks, he is providing medicines free of cost and his wife is vijaya lakshmi she is a teacher, wife and husband is doing help for poor people.
