Raman is a city and a municipal council in Bathinda district in the Indian state of Punjab.

As of 2001 India census[1], Raman had a population of 19,549. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Raman has an average literacy rate of 58%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 61%, and female literacy is 55%. In Raman, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
