Ramadugu

Ramadugu is a village located 19 km from Karimnagar City. Ramadugu in telugu means Ram's foot, it is believed that Ram the Hindu god went through Ramadugu on his way to Lanka. It has a fort of ancient days, with 30 m high walls and a 280 years old Mosque.

It is very famous for stone sculptures. The best stone sculptures are made here and people from all over India come here for this reason.[citation needed]

There are a number of buses to this location from Karimnagar, Jagital, Gangadhara and Choppadandi.

This village is famous for its mixed culture, with people of all religions living peacefully. The population mainly consists of farmers of which the family of Mr. Late Dade Khan Hazari is well known among people of the village. Survived by his Four sons and dozens grand children.
