Ralph Wilson Nimmons, Jr. (born 1938 in Dallas, Texas). Died November 24, 2003 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Nimmons was a judge for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. It should also be noted he served as an Assistant State Attorney for the state of Florida from 1969 - 1971. He was in private practice in Jacksonville, Florida from 1973 until 1977, when he was first appointed a Judgeship. In 1991 he was appointed by President George H.W. Bush to serve as a United States District Judge.

Nimmons graduated from the University of Florida in 1960 with his Bachelors degree. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Levin College of Law at UF in 1963.
