Ralph Watts is the Iowa State Representative from the 47th District. He has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2002. He received his BS from the University of Wyoming.
Watts currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Appropriations committee; the Environmental Protection committee; the Labor committee; the Veterans Affairs committee; and the Government Oversight committee, where he is the ranking member.
Watts was re-elected in 2006 with 8,313 votes, defeating Democratic opponent Russ Wiesley. [1]
