Ralph Venning

Ralph Venning (Devonshire, England, c. 1621-March 10 of 1673 or 1674), was a nonconformist divine. He achieved his Master of Arts at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, in 1650, and was a lecturer at St. Olave's Church in Southwark; he was ejected in 1663 along with many others of his persuasion, due to the Act of Uniformity 1662. He was thereafter a preacher at Pewterers Hall, London, 1663-74. Venning published numerous sermons and tracts.
