Ralph Tegtmeier

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ralph Tegtmeier, also known as 'Frater V∴D∴' and 'Frater U∴D∴' (abbreviation for Ubique Daemon Ubique Deus, "Demon (is) in all, God (is) in all") is a German occultist and a member of the Fraternitas Saturni and an ex-member of the Illuminates of Thanateros.

While residing in Bonn, Germany from 1979 to 1981, Tegtmeier ran an occult bookstore named Horus. In conjunction with the book store an experimental magical group that became informaly known as "The Bonn Group" was formed. During this time an unattributed copy of Peter J. Carroll's "Liber Null" was discovered and translated by Tegtmeier for use by the Bonn Group. This eventually lead to contact being made between Carroll and Tegtmeier and the decision to transform the Illuminates of Thanateros from an informal association into a formal magical order as outlined in Liber Pactionis.[1]

In the early 1990s Tegtmeier was involved with a schism from the Illuminates of Thanateros in an event known as "The Ice Magick War." During the schism, he was accused having become "ultra right wing", a charge he always contested.[2]Tegtmeier has been uninvolved with the IOT since and has distanced himself from Chaos Magic.[3][4][5]

Tegtmeier is currently co-CEO of a small Belgium venture selling search engine optimization and related services.
