Ralph King-Milbanke, 2nd Earl of Lovelace was the third son of William King and his wife, Ada Lovelace, the only legitimate daughter of the poet Lord Byron. He was born July 2, 1839, and lived at Ockham Park in Ockham, Surrey. He had an older brother and sister, Byron and Isabella.
