Raleigh Times

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Raleigh Times was the afternoon newspaper in Raleigh, North Carolina. The newspaper was eventually purchased by its larger rival, The News & Observer but continued to be published until November 30, 1989. The former downtown headquarters of The Times has been converted into a bar and restaurant that utilizes a theme inspired by the defunct paper.[1] Former U.S. Senator Jesse Helms was an editor of The Times.
