Raleigh Grifter

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Raleigh Grifter was a children's bicycle manufactured and marketed in the late 1970s and early 1980s by the Raleigh Company of Nottingham, England. It was the "must have" bicycle of its time[citation needed] and bridged a gap between the Raleigh Chopper and the emergence of true BMX models. Like the Chopper, it was part of a range of age-specific bicycles and was positioned at the top of that range.[citation needed] Other bicycles in the range included the Strika and Boxer.
