Rakowicki Cemetery Polish: Cmentarz Rakowicki is one of the largest cemeteries in Kraków, Poland. Founded in the beginning of the 19th century, it was expanded several times, and is the burial place of many notable former inhabitants of the city of Kraków. Karol Wojtyła, Sr. and Emilia Kaczorowska - parents of Pope John Paul II are also buried here.
