Rakesh Sharma (filmmaker)

Rakesh Sharma is a prominent Indian documentary film-maker. 42-year-old Sharma is based in Mumbai. His famous work on the Gujarat riots was the movie Final Solution (Gujarat Riots).
Rakesh Sharma has won two awards at the 54th Berlin International Film Festival (2004), for his feature-length documentary on Gujarat, Final Solution. The film by Rakesh Sharma was awarded the Wolfgang Staudte Award and the Special Jury Award at the festival. [1] This film was rejected as an entry at the recent Mumbai International Film Festival.
