[edit] Problem with the image

Hi, Raj Srikanth. This is regarding the image Image:Paddy fields.jpg, which i found in Andhra Pradesh. I find another image Image:N.H. 47 - Near Chunkankadai, Kanyakumari District.JPG which is exactly the same in Tamil Nadu. The image, uploaded by User:Infocaster, seems to be of Kanyakumari district. If you haven't taken this pic kindly delete it from Andhra Pradesh.

Thanks and Regards. User:L.vivian.richard

[edit] Notability of Y S Jagan

A tag has been placed on Y S Jagan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. • nancy • 17:38, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

Vandals are destroying articles related to Andhra Pradesh, Telugu language, Telugu script and many articles related to Telugu history. These people, about eight, have ganged up and are helping each other to prevent unbiased contributions. The history of South India and even that of the whole of India is being painted as that belonged to a linguistic group. History is being re-written on the basis of a couple of books written by parchial and localized historians and a couple of websites devoted to regional agenda and chauvantic tendencies. A perusal of their contributions and citations will make my point obvious. I appeal to you to regularly visit Telugu and Andhra-relted articles and prevent vandalism by these mischief makersKumarrao 09:50, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:L B sadium.jpg

I don't have any personal knowledge about the topic, but according to a recent discussion here, this image you uploaded is of G.M.C Balayogi Athletic Stadium and not Lal Bahadur Stadium. Can you please clarify if that is the case, and if so, re-upload the image under the correct name ? Cheers. Abecedare 05:03, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Picture information

Hi, you are doing a good work by putting up pictures. But relevant text information about the picture should accompany the article, which over all make your pictures meaningful and relevant. This is with regard to the the picture Rain tree park. It maybe a good picture but the relevant text information in the article is missing. You can make your picture meaningful and improve the quality of the article by doing so. You've also not mentioned summary while uploading the picture, do it so that wiki doesnt take them out. [edit] Speedy deletion of Y.S. Jaganmohan reddy

A tag has been placed on Y.S. Jaganmohan reddy, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Polly (Parrot) 18:07, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers.
