RAJAHRAM RAMALINGAM was born on 6th June, 1949 and is the third child of Dr.G.Ramalingam and Mrs.Sivasironmani Devi. His father was a docter in the Government service in Malaysia and retired in 1965, while mother was a housewife. Both have now passed away. He has two sisters elder to him, namely Arunthathi Devi ( Mrs. Balasundram ) and Anusuya Devi ( Mrs. Sivanesan ).


Rajahram had his primary education in Brickfields School (1) in Kuala Lumpur. Being a bright student he did well in the Secondary Schools Entrance Examination and was admitted to the prestigous Victoria Institution.


On completing the Higher School Certificate Examination in 1968, he chose to do a science degree in Biology and Chemistry at Universiti Sains Malaysia. While he was here, he was elected Chairman of the Students' Representative Council's, Elections Board. He was also Editor of the Freshman Orientation Guidebook and Co-Editor of the students' monthly, " Berita Mahasiswa ".


On completing his degree with honours, he was temporarily teaching and touring various countries of the world. He has to date been to no less than 80 towns in 30 countries of the world. Among these are New York, London, Paris Rome, Moscow, New Delhi, Bangkok, Hanoi, Manila, Perth, Darwin and Sydney.


In 1980 after doing his Diploma in Education, he served in many schools as Teacher of Biology, Science and Mathematics. His tour of duty took him to Banting, Seremban, Bentong, Kepong and Selayang.


On completing his Masters in Education,1993, he was promoted as Head of Science Department and in 2003, as Principal of SMK Bukit Beruntung - a large modern secondary co-educational school in Rawang.


He retired in 2005 and has since been a Blog Writer on the internet, on a website called MY JOURNAL. Earlier he also set up SRI LANKA WATCH, a website dedicated to find a solution to the ethnic crisis in the island state. He has been in communication with the Government of Sri Lanka and LTTE to find an amicable solution to the crisis.
