[edit] Discussion

User:Ncmvocalist is replacing the name Dr. Rajkumar with Rajkumar (actor) in this page without any reason. His change has been undone. Any change made should be discussed and finalised here and only after a consensus is reached, should the change be affected. -- ¿Amar៛Talk to me/My edits 04:32, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

There is no valid justification why the common name Rajkumar is automatically directed to this Kannada actor, particularly when there are other notable persons with the same name (eg; Dr. Rajkumar the singer who lives today). Even with a disambiguation page, there is more than one "Dr Rajkumar", which is why the page ought to be moved to Rajkumar (actor), or even, Dr. Rajkumar (actor). The 'Rajkumar' namespace on the other hand should redirect to this disambiguation page. Ncmvocalist (talk) 08:30, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Tsk, tsk. See Gandhi. It is always acceptable to use the most popular usage of a name as the article title and provide links to disambiguation pages, which is what is done with Rajkumar. If you think there are other Rajkumars who are more notable than Dr. Raj, it is your onus to prove it. Till then, stay off -- ¿Amar៛Talk to me/My edits 10:04, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Tsk tsk, your example is not comparible. Gandhi is considered phenomenal world-wide. You have no proof to ascertain or even justify that the whole namespace of Rajkumar can be occupied by him in the same way. On the other hand, Dr. Rajkumar (actor) is more appropriate and reasonable - a concept you clearly are not accustomed with. It's very simple, you can either learn this concept, or you can embarass yourself when this goes to Rfc. Ncmvocalist (talk) 11:27, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
How is it not comparable? The name Gandhi relates more to Mahatma Gandhi and the name Rajkumar relates more to Dr. Raj. Your whims and fancies dont apply here. Again, dont threaten me. You are free to file an RfC and I wont get threatened by that. Take your stick elsewhere I am not here to listen to your tomfoolery -- ¿Amar៛Talk to me/My edits 11:32, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Dr. Raj is no where near as prominent or as notable as Mahatma Gandhi, or are you in denial? These aren't mere whims and fancies, so don't bother with your nonsensical thoughts. You've already embarassed yourself with your frivolous non-notability tagging of certain articles - I don't care if you like to learn the hard way again. In case you prefer to be more constructive than being a troll, I would suggest you try a google search, or better still, do some research in general. There is no valid justification for the Rajkumar namespace being hogged by an actor. Dr. Rajkumar - possible. Rajkumar - no. Ncmvocalist (talk) 11:37, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
I guess you do not know English. I never compared Gandhi with Rajkumar. All I said was was if Gandhi can be redirected to Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, then Rajkumar can as well contain details about Dr. Raj, since there is no other Rajkumar as prominent as Dr. Raj. Nursery English, surprised that you dont understand it and you call yourself an en-5. And by calling me a troll, you have shown to what level you can stoop to forward your POV. I have more than 75 DYKs to my name, so dont question me on my research. You are not worthy enough to call me names, your contributions to Wikipedia are hardly anything... -- ¿Amar៛Talk to me/My edits 12:01, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
User:Ncmvocalist is just busy with nitpicking here. Dr. Rajkumar is the most popular result one can get for Rajkumar, it's not so complicated to fathom. And by the way, Rajkumar is Rajkumar, not Raj Kumar. So Rajkumar should be and must be redirected to Dr. Rajkumar. Gnanapiti (talk) 15:57, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
