Rajoke

The Rajoke are a subcast of Chadhars. Its origin was Rajoa near Chiniot, Punjab Pakistan. The Rajoka people had their state at Rajoa. According to historic stories,they had a clash with a Mughal prince. Mughal prince was defeated twice by the Rajoka family but third time they were defeated with the help of a traitor. Many Rajokas were killed by the Mughal forces. The remaining had a narrow escape. They rehabilitated on the banks of the Chenab River. The famous villages of the Rajoka include Chalidhy waly, Malaka Chak, Dhaloo Waly, Kalyana.
