Rajiv Mishra is a broadcast/media professional and founder of Electronic Media Rating Council of India. His contribution in TV Ratings methodology in Europe has been recognised by ITU/EBU in 1996 at Geneva.
He did Masters in Broadcasting from IAB, Montreux, Switzerland, MBA in Media Management from MCNY, USA and a Certificate Course in Multi-Media from UCLA, USA.
He has worked for Hindustan Times, Star TV, Zee TV, TV Asia of USA, Yes TV, BAG Films and Reliance Infocomm Limited. He is the nominated Member of various Media Advisory bodies in various Ministry of Government of India. Rajiv is currently working with Digital Broadcasting Pvt. Ltd. (DBI) as Managing Director. DBI develops TV/Animation software for the US market, prints technical periodicals and magazines, and provide solutions to IPTV, mobile TV, HDTV, DTH, DTT and convergence industry. DBI also runs International Academy of Retail Management (i-ARM) in collaboration with Global Retail Management Foundation, USA, and Krauszer’s, the chain of retail stores with over 4,000 outlets in the US and Germany. i-ARM is one of the leading school in retail management.
Rajiv is also founder of Association of Radio Operators for India (AROI). He has recently been nominated as Member-Working group of planning commission for Information and Broadcasting sector by Prime Minister of india. The group will develop policy paper on Radio/Television broadcasting and will also develop a strategy paper for audio/video on hand held devices.
His understanding of Convergence Industry and Digital future is exceptionally good.
