Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology (commonly known as RGCET) is a premier private engineering institute located at Puducherry, India under Sri Balaji educational and charitable public trust, and Affiliated to Pondicherry University.

The Building for the college is constructed in an area of 30 Acres of Land at Kirumambakkam, 13 km from Pondicherry towards Cuddalore. Pondicherry is 145 km away from Chennai. It is well connected by road and rail. The nearest Airport is Chennai airport and the Railway station is Cuddalore. The Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville and Manakkula Vinayagar Temple are also located in the Union Territory, well known for its weather and conducive learning atmosphere.
