Dr. Pillania serves on advisory boards of a number of international research journals, conferences and professional bodies. He has undertaken research projects/ consultancy assignments sponsored by national /international bodies/various companies.
His views/ articles appear in various newspapers in USA, Asia and Europe. He is invited Guest Editor for many international research journals like Management Decision, Multinational Business Review, Knowledge and Process Management, Management Research News etc.
He is invited by international business schools, universities and policy centres for talks and by international conferences for key note speech/chairing sessions.

He has published or presented numerous research papers in international/Indian research journals/conferences. Currently he is working on increasing the research publications on Emerging Markets,particularly India and China.

Professor Pillania has worked in Europe, USA and Asia. He is Honorary Chairman of Institute for Emerging Markets. Currently he is a faculty at MDI, Gurgaon, India; Visiting Fellow at Northumbria University, UK; and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) Sloan Industry Studies Associate.
