Rajendra Mal Lodha

Born on at Jodhpur in the family of Judges.

Took B.Sc. & LL.B. Degrees from Jodhpur University and enrolled with Bar council of Rajasthan on . and started practice at Jodhpur. Shifted to Jaipur in the year 1977 on formation of Jaipur Bench.

Exclusively practised in the High Court and dealt with all branches of Law; Constitutional, Civil, Company, Criminal, Taxation, Labour etc.

Was Central Government Standing Counsel in charge of entire litigation of Union of India at Jaipur Bench from the year 1990 to 1992. Represented Rajasthan High Court in important matters as Special Counsel. Argued many important cases on behalf of number of Government bodies, Semi-Government bodies, Public Authorities like the Rajasthan State Industrial and Investment Development Corporation, Rajasthan Text Book Board, Rajasthan Agricultural Marketing Board, Bharatpur Central Co-operative Bank, Rajasthan State Electricity Board, New India Assurance Company, Oriental Insurance Company, Kendriya Vidyalaya etc.

Was Member of Committee with Justice R.S. Kejriwal of Rajasthan High Court to suggest amendments in Rajasthan Rent Control Act, 1950.

Took oath of office as Permanent Judge, Rajasthan High Court at Jodhpur on and transferred to Bombay High Courton January 31st 1994 where he assumed office on . Life member of Indian Law Institute, N.Delhi. February 2007 he has been transfered to Rajasthan High Court then in May 2008 he has been promoted to Chief Justice of Bihar State
